William "Bill" Lewis Ellis, 73, of Little Rock, Arkansas passed away October 8, 2017. He was born June 18, 1944 in St. Louis, Missouri to the late Edgar Lewis and Betty Maxine (King) Ellis.
Bill proudly served in the United States Navy. He enjoyed hunting and fishing. Bill was a loving husband, wonderful father, grandfather, and great-grandfather.
Preceding Bill in death are his parents; and son, Eddie Ellis.
He leaves to cherish his memory his wife of twenty-nine years, Pam Ellis of Little Rock; four children: Heather Bradley and husband Teddy of Little Rock, Amber Ison and husband Mark of North Little Rock, Christy Bromley and husband David of Sheridan, Arkansas and Billy Ellis of Harrison, Arkansas; eleven grandchildren: Eddie Ellis, Jr., Dalton, Jett, Tru, Gabe, Ava, Aaron, Brent, Clayton, Bobbie, and Dakota; six great-grandchildren; sister, Ann Bearden; two brothers, Jackie King and wife Mona and Eddie Ellis; and a host of family and friends who love Bill and will miss him always.
Reception visitation will be held from 1:00-2:00 PM, Wednesday, October 11, at Smith-Benton Funeral Home, 322 N. Market St., with funeral service, officiated by Pastor Nathan Winiecki, following at 2:00 PM.
