William "Bill" Henderson Eldridge, Jr., 89, of Little Rock, passed away Monday, January 13, 2020 with his family at his side. Born in Choctaw, Arkansas to William H. and Vera Herring Eldridge, he was a graduate of Greenbrier High School and attended UALR. He retired from Southwestern Bell as a facilities engineer in 1991 after 41 years of service. He was a member of Winfield United Methodist Church.
He is survived by his wife of 65 years, Ruth DeBusk Eldridge; sons, William Michael Eldridge (Lisa) of Rogers, Keith Alan Eldridge (Debbie) of Little Rock, and Jeffery "Scott" Eldridge (Ashley) of Roland; grandchildren, Lauren Hogan (Nathan) of Fayetteville, Ben Eldridge of Dallas, Justin Eldridge (Lauren) of Little Rock, Lindsay Eldridge of Rogers, Kristen Matlock (Miller) of Fayetteville, and Carson Eldridge of Roland; great-grandchildren, Grayson Hogan, Hazel Hogan and Ellie Eldridge; and other family and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents and sisters, Hazel Treadway and Dovie Taylor.
Graveside services will be held at Roselawn Memorial Park on Saturday, January 18 at 10:00 a.m. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Arkansas Children's Hospital Foundation, 1 Children's Way, Little Rock, AR 72202.
