William "Daniel" Eidt age 34, passed away March 1, 2013. Daniel was born January 18, 1979 to parents William "Bill" and Louretta Eidt in Houston, Texas.
Daniel leaves behind to cherish his memory, three beautiful children; Andrew Daniel, Alexandria Dawn and Anna Brooke of Benton, AR, his mother; Louretta Eidt of Benton, one brother; David Eidt and wife, Jamie and their children Ethan and Logan of Wynne, AR, one sister; Diann Crouse and husband Jeremy and their children Austin and Emily of Benton, many aunts, uncles, cousins, and other family members as well as a host of friends all who loved him dearly and will miss him always.
Daniel was preceded in death by his father; William Dale Eidt Jr. "Bill", maternal grandparents, Theodore "Big Bear" and Lois Sky-Eagle, and paternal grandparents, William Dale Eidt, Sr. and Agatha Marie Eidt.
Daniel will be fondly remembered for his cunning wit, verbal bantering, and sharp mind. He loved his children Drew -Drew, Lexi Lou, and Anna Bug and delighted in spending every minute he could with them. Daniel was a member of the First Pentecostals of Benton. He cared deeply for people as evidenced by his career choice in the nursing field and his work in recent years as an NA sponsor. Daniel attended the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences (UAMS) and graduated with his degree as a registered nurse. He worked for the Arkansas Heart Hospital for several years and most recently was working for St. Vincent's Rehabilitation. Daniel's life touched many people and he would want those people to continue to live life with purpose and laughter.
Funeral services will be Thursday at 11am with Rev. O.D. Crabtree and Rev. Burrell Crabtree officiating. The family will be receiving friends and family on Wednesday evening from 5 - 8pm at Smith Family Funeral Home in Benton (formerly Peaceful Haven) located at 322 N. Market in Benton, AR. Interment will follow at New Summit Cemetery in Benton with Tim Bargainer, Mark Rogers, Casey Rogers, Greg Mitchell, Jerry Crabtree, and Jerry Mack Davis serving as pallbearers.
