William Edwin Earl III On Friday morning July 31st, 2015, William (Bill) Edwin Earl III passed away peacefully in his sleep at home. William was born September 4th, 1950 in Morrilton, Arkansas to his parents, Billie Earl Jr. and Billie Mae Mayall Earl. When Bill was only four years old, he was diagnosed with polio just months before the Polio vaccine was made available in 1955. To combat polio, his parents sent him to the facility president FDR created to help victims of polio for treatment in Warm Springs, Georgia. However, he was a strong-willed man who achieved great success and did not let his illness control his life. Bill was a graduate of Hall High School class of 1970 and also graduated from the University of Arkansas at Little Rock with two degrees: Bachelors of Arts in History and Business with emphasis in International Relations. Additionally, he was a dedicated member of the Kappa Sigma Fraternity while attending UALR and was a lifelong Knights Templar. He began his career with a variety of jobs, and then finished his career as a Mortgage Broker for Stephens Incorporated, retiring in the early nineties. In 1984, Bill was married to Frances Ann Marks, and in late 1984, their daughter Elizabeth Ann Earl was born. They shared a happy thirty years together until her recent passing in February 2015. Bill was an avid outdoorsman, and he collected antique guns & knives. Most of all, he loved spending time with his family, friends, and his dog. William Edwin Earl III is survived by Daughter Elizabeth Ann Earl of Morrilton, Arkansas, Father Billie Earl Jr. of Little Rock, Arkansas, Sister Judy Earl Harris of Hot Springs, Arkansas, nephews Justin William Palmer of San Francisco, California, and William Thomas Harris IV of Hot Springs, Arkansas. The memorial service will be held at 2 pm, Saturday, August 8, 2015 at Griffin Leggett Conway Funeral Home, 1751 Dave Ward Dr., Conway, Arkansas 72034.
