William A. "Bill" Cook age 88 of Arkadelphia died Thursday, August 2, 2012. He was born in Clark County August 1, 1924 the son of Jabez Sidney and Sudie Beard Cook. He was a Disabled American Veteran having served with the U.S. Navy in WWII. He was preceded in death by a brother and nephew, James N. Cook Sr. and James N. Cook Jr., two sisters, Christine Sumner and Edna Wynn.
Survivors include two nephews, John Sumner of Elizabethton, TN and Ed Cook of Jacksonville, AR, two nieces, Celia Kirby of Fredrick, MD and Dorothy Cook of Broken Bow, OK.
Graveside services with full military honors will be 10 AM Saturday, August 4th in the South Fork Cemetery with Rev. James Calhoun officiating. Visitation will be 9 AM till service time at Ruggles-Wilcox Funeral Home in Arkadelphia.
