William Caples
William "Griff" Caples, born January 6, 1959 in North Little Rock, to the late William Griffin Caples, Sr. and Ila Sarrett Caples. He went to be with his Heavenly Father April 15, 2012. Griff knew and loved the Lord and was a member of Bayou Meto Baptist Church in Jacksonville. He was a system administrator at Fidelity Information Services and enjoyed working on his land and spending time with his family.
He is survived by his wife, Sharon Smith Caples; daughter and "son"-in-law, Amanda and Jeremy Eaker of Jacksonville; mother, Ila Caples, of North Little Rock; one sister, Yvonne Caples Sprouse (Lee) of Independence, Mo. He was blessed with nieces, nephews and numerous extended family and friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Youth/Children's Fund at Bayou Meto Baptist Church in Jacksonville.
A Graveside service will be held 10:00 A.M., Tuesday at Arkansas Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends at the family home. Arrangements by North Little Rock Funeral Home, 1921 Main St., 758-1170. Online obituary and guest registry at www.nlrfh.com.
