William Bone

Rev. William "Darrel" Bone, 85, of Bryant passed away January 2, 2019. Rev. Bone was born on January 29, 1933 in Pine Bluff, Arkansas, the only child of Rev. W.T. and Ruth Bone. Darrel was a graduate of Hendrix College and received his call to preach in 1955. His active ministry in the Methodist Church spanned fifty years serving churches in Central Arkansas which included Bryant, Little Rock, Texarkana, Prescott, and Glennwood.
Darrel is survived by his wife of sixty-one years, Zetha Camp Bone; one son, Harold Bone and his wife Perry; one daughter, Ruth Ellen Epperson and her husband Steven; along with seven grandchildren: Lucas, Skylar, and Allison Epperson and Austin, Joshua, Charlie and James Bone.
Memorial service will be held at 11:00 AM, Thursday, January 10, at First United Methodist Church in Bryant, Arkansas. Visitation will be held one hour prior to service. Private burial was held at Smith-Rosemont Cemetery.
