William Bob Case

William Bob Case died on February 6, 2023.  He was born on December 20, 1928 to James Fred Case and Lillian Marie Andrews Case in Arkadelphia, Arkansas.  He was predeceased by his parents, wife, Lillian Joan Sale Case, brothers, James Roland Case (Christine) and Charles Edward Case, sister, Martha Irene Case Moore (Al), son, Gregory Alan Case and daughter, Kimberly Case Crownover.  He is survived by his grandchildren, Clifton Crownover, Hannah Osborne, and Justin Osborne; nieces and nephews, Ron, Chuck, Vickie, Carolyn, Kenny, Lee, and Labette; brother-in-law, Raymond Sale; sister-in-law, Joyce Elrod; and many cousins.

Bob was educated in the Little Rock public schools, UALR and Arkansas Law School.  He was elected President of the Arkansas Mortgage Bankers Association in 1962 and retired as a Vice President with National Old Line Insurance Company in 1990.  After retirement, he and Joan traveled around the world to over 40 countries.  He joined Joan’s United Methodist Church in 1954 and they were charter members of Saint James United Methodist Church.  When they moved to Hot Springs, they joined First Methodist and the Friendship Sunday School Class.

Bob was grateful for his coworkers, especially his Secretary for 25 years, Patsy Brown, a special friend, Sidney Thom, and cousin, Glenn Andrews. 

Memorials may be made to First United Methodist Church, 1100 Central Avenue, Hot Springs, AR 71913 or Saint James United Methodist Church, 321 Pleasant Valley Drive, Little Rock, AR 72212.

Graveside Service: Pinecrest Memorial Park, 7401 Highway 5, Alexander, AR 72002 at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, February 15.
