William Blankenship,
William (Bill) Blankenship, 84, of North Little Rock, Arkansas passed away on Wednesday, August 3, 2011 at Spring Hill Baptist Medical Center. Bill was affectionally known as "Mr. B" in the North Little Rock School District.
Survivors include two daughters, Gail Clark of Sherwood, Amy LeAnn Blankenship and companion Tim Smith of Little Rock; two sons, Billy W. Blankenship and wife Debbie of Lavalette, West Virginia, Bill Blankenship and wife Francine of Cabot; seven grandchildren, Melissa, Cathy, Danielle E., Philip, Danielle B., Rhiannon, and Meleya; and five great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Monday in the North Little Rock Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Bobby Acklin officiating. Burial will be at Rest Hills Memorial Park. Visitation will be from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m., Sunday at the funeral home, 1921 Main St., 758-1170. Online obituary and guest registry at www.nlrfh.com.
