William Moore

William A. "Billy" Moore, 85, of North Little Rock went to his eternal home Saturday, December 1, 2012. He served in the U.S. Navy, retired from Crow Burlingame as a district manager and salesman after 45 years of service and he was a Deacon at Highway Baptist Church. Billy liked to fish and he enjoyed life. He enjoyed watching the Cardinals baseball team and the Dallas Cowboys and listening to Johnny Cash. He is survived by his wife Dorothy Chapman Jones Moore of North Little Rock; son, Altham Keith Moore of North Little Rock; daughters; T.K. and husband Tommy Garrick of Little Rock, Felita Johnson and Mitchell Johnson of Maumelle, Danita and husband Ivan Murphy of Greenbrier; step-daughter, Diana and husband Jim Camp of Sherwood; step-son, Warren Jones of Sherwood; five grandchildren, Maddie Daniel, Tessa and Trey Johnson, Thomas Garrick and Seth Gottsponer; brother, Oscar Moore of Alton, Illinois and a host of family and friends.
He is preceded in death by this first wife, Freda Helen Swopes Moore and son William Kyle Moore.
Memorials may be made to American Heart Association, 909 West 2nd St., Little Rock, AR., 72202.
Memorial service will be held 12:00 Noon, Thursday at Highway Baptist Church officiated by Pastor Mark Overman. Burial will be at Arkansas Memorial Gardens.
The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m., Wednesday at North Little Rock Funeral Home, 1921 Main St., 758-1170. The family is also welcoming friends at the Moore residence. Online obituary and guest registry at www.nlrfh.com .
