William Ballard
William Neal Ballard age 62 of Friendship died Friday, January 13, 2012. He was born January 4, 1950 the son of Jess W. and Joan Petray Ballard. He was a retired pipe fitter, a U. S. Army Veteran of the Vietnam War, member of VFW Post 7516, and a Baptist.
Survivors include his wife, Phyllis Leath Ballard, one son, Scott Penny of Friendship, one daughter, Kim Hughes and her husband Kenny of Brunswick, GA, his mother, Joan Ballard of Arkadelphia, one brother, Jesse "Jay" Ballard and his wife Paula of Vancouver, WA, two sisters, Frances Corn and her husband Mike of Arkadelphia, and Charlotte Henry of Friendship, 4 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren.
Graveside funeral services will be 11 AM Monday in the Gilchrist Cemetery near Friendship with full Military Honors. There will be no formal visitation.
