William Baldridge

William Ross "Bill" Baldridge, 68, of North Little Rock died Tuesday, August 25, 2009. He was born August 3, 1941, the only son of William F. and Marion Ross Baldridge who preceded him in death. He was a graduate of North Little Rock High School and Ouachita Baptist University.
Bill enjoyed life to the fullest. He was an avid outdoorsman, hunter, and fisherman. He spent many years as an active member of the National Wild Turkey Federation and he shared his hunting and fishing skills with adults and children alike. Bill was a storyteller extraordinaire, always captivating all within earshot. He also kept his friends and family entertained with his creative use of simile.
Bill was a coach; account executive at Brittenum and Associates; and sales professional; but caring for his father, "Daddy Bill" during the last eight years of Daddy Bill's life was his most fulfilling "job".
He is survived by his daughter Lisa Baldridge Stipe and husband, Jim; sisters Alice George and husband, Warren; and Beckie Hilburn and husband, Carey; nieces and nephews, Sherrye Campbell, Lorrie George, Carla Prater, Chris and Joe Chambers, eleven great nieces and nephews; cousin, Billy Ray Usery; and his love, Jimmie Lea Duncan.
The family would like to express their gratitude to Dr. Jason Smith, the staff of Little Rock Hematology and Oncology and Dr. Mendelsohn, Baptist Health Hospice, and Saline Memorial Hospice House.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Saline Memorial Hospice House or your preferred charity.
A Memorial service will be held 2:00 P.M., Friday at North Little Rock Funeral Home Chapel, 1921 Main St., 758-1170. Online obituary and guest register at www.nlrfh.com.
