William Almond
William S. Almond age 66, of Gurdon, passed away on Friday, June 8, 2018 in Arkadelphia. He was born August 15, 1951 to the late Luther David Almond and Ruby Annie Ward Warren. William was a member of Curtis Assembly of God Church and retired truck driver.
He was preceded in death by parents, one sister, Cynthia Schee; two brothers, Wayne Schee and Charles Schee; and one grandson, Nicholas Jones.
Survivors are two daughters, Amanda (James) Jones of Magnolia and Holly (Mike) Elledge of Hot Springs; six grandchildren; one sister, Nancey (AB) McClure of Gurdon; three brothers, Donald (Roxy) Almond of Rison, Doug (Janice) Almond of Bismarck and Victor (Kathy) Schee of Hughes Springs, Texas.
Graveside service will be at 2:00 PM Wednesday, June 13th at Rose Hill/Sycamore Cemetery. Visitation will be 11:00 AM Wednesday at Ruggles-Wilcox Funeral Home in Arkadelphia.
