Willa Lou Voyles, 90, of Conway passed away Saturday, June 10, 2023. She was born August 24, 1932 in Rogers, Arkansas to the late William Lewis and Lou Ella Keith. She is preceded in death by her sister, Bonnie Alberson; husband, Edsel Voyles; and oldest daughter, Mary Kay Voyles.
She graduated from Rogers High School and Draughonâs Business School. Willa was a member of Pickles Gap Baptist Church for 45 years, where she taught Sunday School and served in many ministries throughout the church. She was a member of the Gideons Auxiliary and helped organize the Parkinsonâs Disease Support Group. She also served in multiple positions in the DAR.
She is survived by her sons, Bill Voyles and Mark Voyles both of Conway, AR; daughter, Kelly Dearing (Rick) of Plainview, AR; grandchildren, Billy Voyles, Jr. of Conway, Shana Mosley of Spring Hill, TN, Charles Lee Dearing of Plainview, AR; and six great-grandchildren.
She was known for her hospitality, kindness, hugs, and big smile. She lived a life faithful to God, and served Him well. She exemplified the fruit of the Spirit in every aspect of her life and the Godly legacy she leaves for her family as well as all who knew her will be long lasting for generations to come.
A visitation will be held at Griffin Leggett Conway on Wednesday, June 14, 2023 from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. A funeral service will be held Thursday, June 15, 2023 at Griffin Leggett Conway at 10:00 a.m. followed by interment at Crestlawn Memorial Park. Griffinleggettconway.com.
