Wilkie Frost Dolby Hogan, of Little Rock, went to be with her Lord on Friday, November 27, 2009. Wilkie was born February 17, 1915 in Huttig, AR, the daughter of Amos Virgil and Wilkie Matilda (Anthony) Frost.
She was a member of Immanuel Baptist Church, where she was a member of the Tele-Bible Class. Previously, she had been a member of Central Baptist Church and Pike Avenue Baptist Church, both in North Little Rock.
She was preceded in death by her first husband, A.J. Dolby, after 56 years of marriage; her second husband, John R. Hogan, after 7 years of marriage; her first born son, John F. Dolby, at age 39; three brothers and four sisters.
Survivors include a son, Bernard E. Dolby and his wife, Beth, of Grand Blanc, MI; a daughter, Annette Dolby Hester and her husband, John, of Little Rock; a daughter-in-law, Dorrie Dolby Fitzhugh and her husband, Bay, of Augusta; grandchildren, Liza Dolby Mallette and husband Pope, and Mike Dolby, all of Oxford, MS, Brice Hester and wife Rikki, of Grand Prairie, TX, and Brannan Hester, of Little Rock; great-grandchildren, Reid, Maggie, and Pope Mallette of Oxford, MS, and Rachel and Lauren Hester of Grand Prairie, TX; many nieces and nephews, and a host of friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Immanuel Baptist Church Tele-Bible Class or Food Pantry, 501 N. Shackleford Road, Little Rock, Arkansas 72211 or to a charity of the donor's choice.
Memorial services will be held at 2:00 P.M., Thursday at Immanuel Baptist Church. Private Burial will be held at Pinecrest Memorial Park. Arrangements made by North Little Rock Funeral Home, 1921 Main, 758-1170. Online obituary and guest register at www.nlrfh.com.
