Wilda Sue Brazeale age 79, of Sparkman, passed away Tuesday, September 12, 2023. She was born on July 28, 1944, to Horace and Janetta Ramsay of Holly Springs, Arkansas.

She was married to the love of her life, Homer Gene Brazeale for 55 years.

Wilda Sue was an active member of Sparkman United Methodist Church.

She was a graduate of Bearden High School. She obtained her degrees in Music Education and Early Childhood Development from Henderson State University in Arkadelphia. Wilda Sue taught music as her passion, spreading joy to many lives. She played the organ at the Sparkman Methodist Church for many years and enjoyed the Primrose Garden Club as one of her hobbies. She was a sweet soul and touched many lives with her time on Earth.

Wilda Sue is proceeded in death by her parents; her husband, Homer Gene Brazeale; son-in-law, Rick McCauley; sister-in-law, Allene Brazeale Swan; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Homer L. and Doris Brazeale.

Survivors are her two children, David Brazeale (Denise) of Sparkman; Teresa McCauley of Arkadelphia; granddaughter, Catherine Bellshaw (Chris); their children Campbell and Cate; grandson, Dustin Hammonds (Carrie); their children Sophia, Max, Harold, Cypress, Royce; granddaughter, Alexandria Hammonds (Kyle), their daughter Savvy Mosley; a niece, Rebecca Grooms (Johnny); their daughter, Emily. The family would like to send out a special thank you to all the caretakers of Wilda Sue in her life, she loved them very much, Mariela, Brenda, and Katelyn. Visitation will be at 1 p.m., Saturday, September 16, 2023, at Sparkman Methodist Church, with service to follow at 2 p.m., with Peggy Abbott officiating. Burial will be at Sardis Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Donny Denton, Mike Burnham, Chris Bellshaw, Wyatt Pennington, Kyle Mosley, Jeff Barnhart, and Clint Walker.

Memorials may be made to Sardis Cemetery Association or to Sparkman United Methodist Church 1564 Hwy. 128, Sparkman, AR 71763.
