Wendy Jo Russell, 59, of Hensley passed away Thursday, August 16, 2012. She was born January 3, 1953 in St. Charles, Missouri to William Joseph East and Evelyn Marie Graham. She was a member of Forest Tower Baptist Church, a national member of CMA Christian Motor Cycle Organization and the Middle Man Ministries. She was called to be a missionary at the age of 14. She ministered to the women at Lonoke County Jail.
She is survived by her husband of 39 years, Glenn A. Russell, of Hensley; mother, Evelyn M. Graham, of Jacksonville; daughters, Glenda Jo "Joey" Powell and husband, Josh, of Little Rock and Misty Renee Ingram and husband, Heath, of East End; sisters, Jackie Hull (Gordon), of Georgia, Dawn Graham, of Conway, Kristi Lowman (Rob), Steffi Farley (Josh) and Angie Edwards (Todd), all of Georgia; brothers, Tim East, of Kansas and Thomas Graham, of Jacksonville; and her grandchildren, Caleb Russell, Grace Powell, Isabella Powell, Jacob Powell, Mason Ingram, Remy Powell, Jack Henry Powell and Caden Ingram. She was preceded in death by her father, William Joseph East; step father, Jack Graham and her sister, Quinna Flores.
Funeral services will be held 1:00 p.m., Saturday at Forest Tower Baptist Church. Burial will be in Rest Hills Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m., Friday at North Little Rock Funeral Home, 1921 Main St., 758-1170. Online obituary and guest registry at www.nlrfh.com.
