Dr. Wayne H. Lott, 91, of Little Rock, passed away July 14, 2016. Born in Malvern, he served in the U.S. Navy on the USS Fulton, and was a veteran of the Korean War before retiring as a Commander. He was a faithful member of the First United Methodist Church of Jacksonville.
He is survived by his son, Walter Murray (June) of Little Rock; grandchildren, Charles Murray and Patrick Murray, both of Little Rock, Matthew Murray (Jenny) of Pascagoula, Mississippi, Debbie Coulson (and children) of Ocean Springs, Mississippi; great-grandchildren, John Murray, Sam Murray and Kai Murray; daughter-in-law, Kathy Murray of Mosspoint, Mississippi; and a host of other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, wife, Joyce Lott, brothers, Buddy Lott and Charles Lott, sister, Martha Jane Barron and son, John Murray.
Dr. Lott was a graduate of Loyola University Dental School and a member of the Pulaski County and Arkansas Dental Associations, and served as Past President of the Society for the Preservation of Oral Health.
There will be a private family service on Saturday, July 23. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the First United Methodist Church, 308 W. Main St., Jacksonville, AR 72076
