Wayne Landis, 82, of Enola passed away Thursday, November 29, 2007. He was retired from the United States Navy and the United States Postal Service after 20 years each. He worked for Wal-Mart as a greeter for 15 years. Wayne was a true gentleman that loved his family and his country.
He is survived by his son, Phillip Wayne Landis and his wife, Bonnie, of Wichita, Kansas; two daughters, Wanda Jean Caudill and husband, Gary, of Enola and Diana Lynne Landis, of North Little Rock; grandchildren, Jason, Christopher, Kimberly, Beth Anne, Randi, Lena, Cameron and Adam; eight great-grandchildren; a brother, Bill Landis and wife, Pam, of Lonoke. He was preceded in death by his parents, William Walter and Sinah Charlotte Landis; wife, Elizabeth Jean Landis; brother and four sisters.
Memorials may be made to Charity of Choice.
Funeral services will be held 10:00 A.M., Tuesday at North Little Rock Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be in Arkansas State Veterans Cemetery.
