Wayne Johnson

Wayne Johnson, age 69, of Glenwood, died Monday, April 21, 2014. He was born on May 26, 1944 in Hot Springs, the son of Maurice Johnson and Lucille Chancellor Johnson. On August 4, 1965, he was married to Sue Johnson who preceded him in death on August 1, 1997. He was a United States Navy veteran and retired truck driver. He was very active in the El Shaddai Ministries in Bismarck. He is survived by four children and their spouses, Frankie and Robert Adams of Bonnerdale, Adrain Wayne, Jr. and Linda Johnson and Lisa and Greg Furr, all of Hot Springs Village and Sheila Greer of Hot Springs; three sisters, Nellie Looper and Shirley Chancellor, both of Bismarck and Amanda Mitchell of Benton; fifteen grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. Services will be held at 10:00 AM, Saturday, April 26, 2014, in the Davis-Smith Funeral Home Chapel, Glenwood, with Nellie Looper and David Thompson officiating. Visitation will be Friday, 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM. Interment will be in Grants Chapel Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Stephen Looper, Roy Looper, Chris Looper, Bryan Vinson, Hunter Furr, Joshua Furr, Joseph Graves and A. J. Johnson. Guest registry is at www.davis-smith.com.
