Wayne House

Wayne B. House of Mabelvale passed from this life on December 11, 2021 at the age of 92. He was born January 22, 1929 in Jackson County, Arkansas to the late George M. and Dolly L.
(Wade) House. Mr. House was a member of the Highway Church of Christ and a veteran of the United States Army. He will always be remembered as a kind and loving husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather, uncle and friend to many. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his first wife, Bid Odell House; seven brothers and three sisters.

Survivors include his wife of eleven years, Patty Williams House; children, Janan (Allan) Qualmann of Maumelle, Gregory House (Karen Lechelt) of Benton; step-children, Sherry (Scott) Wood of Springdale, Marla (Mark) Smith of Mabelvale and Jamie (Carl) Lloyd of Little Rock. Other survivors include grandchildren, Lindsey (Nathan) Swain, Thomas House; great grandchildren, Claire, Olivia and Sydney Swain along with a host of extended family and friends.

Graveside services with military honors will be 11:00am, Thursday, December 16, 2021 at Swifton Cemetery in Swifton, Arkansas. Visitation will be 6:00pm until 8:00pm, Tuesday, December 14, 2021 at Smith Little Rock Funeral Home.  In lieu of flowers, memorials in Wayne’s memory may be made to Paragould Children’s Home, 5515 Walcott Road, Paragould, Arkansas, 72450.
