Wayne Leon Boren, age 71 of North Little Rock passed away on Saturday, September 6, 2008. He was born on March 13, 1937 to Mable and Clyde Jackson. He was a retired truck driver.
Wayne was preceded in death by his parents; 1 brother, Donald Jackson; and 1 daughter, Cheryl Ann Boren.
He is survived by his wife of 37 years, Joyce (Felts) Boren; 1 brother, Marcus Jackson and wife Linda of Sherwood; 1 sister-in-law, Shirley Jackson of Fordyce; 1 brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Danny and Linda Duncan of North Little Rock; 3 nieces, Lisa, Heather and Allison Jackson; 3 nephews, Gary Jackson, and Ricky and Craig Duncan and their families; a special great-niece, Anna Beth Duncan, and special great-nephews, Kaden Cole Duncan and Jacob Felts and a host of other relatives.
Funeral services will be held at 10:00 A.M. Wednesday at North Little Rock Funeral Home Chapel by Bro. James Ray Raines. Burial will follow at Lakeside Cemetery in Des Arc.
Visitation will be held from 5:30 to 7:30 P.M. Tuesday at North Little Rock Funeral Home, 1921 Main Street, 758-1170.
