Wayland B. Cox, Sr., 73, of North Little Rock passed away Saturday, June 19, 2010. He was a retired Master Sergeant in the United States Air Force.
He is survived by his wife of 37 years, Virginia "Ginger" Cox, of North Little Rock; daughter and son-in-law, Terry and Joe Hulbert, of Las Vegas, Nevada; two sons and daughters-in-law, Wayland "Butch" Cox, Jr. and wife, Rhonda, of San Antonio, Texas and Patrick Cox and wife, Debbie, of Little Rock; two sisters, Rubye McClain, of North Little Rock and Mary Romine and husband, Aden, of Little Rock; six grandchildren, Christa, Bonnie, Nicholas, Logan, Alisha and Katie; and three great-grandchildren, Schuyler, Isabella and Alexandria. He was preceded in death by his parents, William and Florence Cox and a beloved brother-in-law, John McClain.
Funeral services will be held 2:00 p.m., Friday in the North Little Rock Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be in Pinecrest Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m., Thursday at the funeral home, 1921 Main St., 758-1170. Online obituary and guest register at www.nlrfh.com.
