Wandene R. Harvey, 94, of Little Rock passed away peacefully on Wednesday, May 11, 2022.  She was born August 21, 1927, in Los Angeles, California, to George Fralick and Opal Mae Cole. She was preceded in death by her parents and stepfather Roy Cole; Her husband, Kenneth Edward Harvey; grandson, Cole Edward Harvey; great granddaughter, Katelynn Taylor Nicole.

Wandene was raised in Russell, Arkansas, where she met her high school sweetheart and love of her life, Ken. Upon Ken’s return from World War II, they were married on May 4, 1946, in Searcy, AR. The two were inseparable throughout their 67 years of marriage, until Ken’s passing in 2013.  Their family has true comfort in knowing they are once again together in each other's arms and with their Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.

Wandene retired from Timex Corporation in Little Rock, Arkansas, as a Quality Control Engineer in 1980 after 32 years of dedicated service.

She leaves to cherish her memory, two children, Kenny Harvey (Jacque) and Tammy Harvey Stauber (James); grandchildren, Aimee Reeves, Ryan Lamberson (Erin); great-grandchildren, Cody Reeves (Abigail), Micaela and Mallory Reeves; great great grand-daughter Genevieve Lou Reeves; brother-in-law, Loyd Harvey (Phyllis); sisters-in-law, Georgia Meadows, and Wanda Brown (Floyd).

The Harvey family would like to say a special thank you to Stonebridge Senior Living of Conway. The management and staff at Stonebridge became family over the past 12 years. The care and love that was displayed each and every day, especially over the last two years within the Memory Care Center, was exceptional and we are truly grateful. A special thanks and recognition to Kindred Hearts Hospice of Conway and Little Rock for their high level of care and professionalism.

The family will receive visitors from 10:00am-11:00am on Saturday, May 21, 2022, at Smith Funeral Home Little Rock.  Memorial service will immediately follow. Private interment will occur later.
