Wanda McElyea
Wanda Jean Davis McElyea, 68, of North Little Rock was born May 28, 1941 and passed away Thursday, April 8, 2010. Wanda was of the Baptist faith and has now gone home to be with her Savior.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Earl and Velma Davis; two brothers, Howard and Jimmy Davis; sister, Bobbie Howland; and a granddaughter, Heather Nichole. She is survived by her husband, of 50 years, John McElyea, of North Little Rock; two sons, William Glenn McElyea and wife, Teressa of Quitman and Johnny R. McElyea of North Little Rock; three grandchildren, Johnathan Chad McElyea, Courtney Michelle and Bailey Elizabeth McElyea; three brothers, Ray, Wayne and Floyd Davis; and three sisters, Sandra Moore, Edie Drake and Sheila Hambrick, all of North Little Rock.
Memorials may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 505 St. Jude Place, Memphis, Tennessee 38105 or American Cancer Society, 901 N. University Avenue, Little Rock, Arkansas 72207.
Funeral services will be held 11:00 a.m., Monday in the North Little Rock Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be in Sumner Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m., Sunday at the funeral home, 1921 Main St., 758-1170. Online obituary and guest register at www.nlrfh.com.
