Wanda "Sue" Hendrix McCallister, 77, of Benton, Arkansas passed away April 10, 2014. She was born on January 2, 1937 in Benton, AR to Wade and Ruby Hendrix.
Sue was a member of Forest Hills Missionary Baptist Church. She enjoyed spending time with her family. Her grandchildren were her greatest joy.
She is survived by her loving husband, Marvin F. McCallister; 2 daughters, Judy Cotton and husband Bill and Brenda Finley and husband Greg; 1 son, Bobby McCallister and wife Starla; sister, Willie Wallace and husband George; 8 grandchildren; 7 great-grandchildren; a host of nieces and nephews; as well as many other family members and friends who loved her dearly and will miss her always.
Sue was preceded in death by her parents; son, Marvin D. McCallister; and brother, Bobby Joe Hendrix.
Funeral service officiated by Rev. Mark Blakely will be Monday, April 14th, 11:00 A.M., Smith Family Funeral Home, 322 N. Market Street, Benton, AR 2015. Visitation will be held at the funeral home Sunday, April 13th from 2:00 - 4:00 P.M. Burial will be at Lee Cemetery with pallbearers Mark Wallace, Lynn McCallister, Glynn McCallister, Eric McCallister, Andy McCallister, and Larry Buggar assisting.
