Wanda Lou Koon

Wanda Lou Koon, 90, long-term resident of Ferndale, went to be with her Lord and Savior on May 5, 2023. She was born August 24, 1932 to James and Annie Janski Thomas. She was a devoted Christian and a member of Pleasant Grove Baptist Church.

She was predeceased by her husband, Charles Koon; her son, Charles “Terry” Koon, Jr.; her parents; and her siblings, Seth Thomas, Jerry Thomas, and Billie Jo Thomas.  She is survived by siblings, Shirley Thomas Eslick and Glenn Thomas (Vedna Mae) and several nieces, nephews, and other extended family and friends.  She was cared for by her loving nieces, Kim Martin Perkins (Alan) and Catherine A. Koon (Joey).

A graveside service will be held Tuesday, May 9, 2023 at 3:00 pm at Pinecrest Memorial Park, 7401 AR-5, Alexander, AR.
