Wanda Lee Kackley-Nordrum, 83, of Lonoke passed away peacefully on March 28th, 2022 surrounded by loved ones. She was born July 2nd, 1938 to the late George and Dorothy Bethune. Wanda is also preceded in death by her husband of 44 years John Franklin Kackley, her second husband of 4 year Joseph Nordrum, son Alvin Kackley, step son Rick Nordrum, as well as her brother, sisters, and 2 grandsons.
Wanda is survived by her children, John F. Kackley Jr. of Dallas, Texas, Roy Kackley of Bluff City, Arkansas, Mary (Dennis) Kackley-Melancon of Golden, Missouri, Dennis (Yvonne) Kackley of Lonoke, Arkansas; stepchildren, Sherry (Larry) Stacy of Arizona, Lisa (Kevin) Marty of Cabot, Arkansas, Mike Nordrum of Roland and Dreena Nordrum of Perryville, Arkansas. She was loved by a multitude of 33 grandchildren, 57 great grandchildren, and 13 great great grandchildren. She loved her family fiercely, even her babies Taz and Little Girl (her dogs).
Wanda was a Christian woman who loved Jesus and made sure people knew who he was. She loved to sit and listen to Jimmy Swaggart Ministry or watching old western movies and cartoons with her great grandchildren. She retired from the Pulaski County School District as the cafeteria manager and became a master at quilting and crocheting. She will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.
Visitation will be 11:00AM-1:00PM Monday, April 4, 2022 at Pinnacle Assembly of God Church (7803 North Guenther Road, Roland) with the funeral service immediately following. Burial will be at 3:00PM at Rest Hills Memorial Park. Visit www.smithfamilycares.com for the online obituary and guestbook.
