Wanda Jordan, age 69, of Glenwood, passed away Wednesday, May 6, 2020. She was born on March 27, 1951, in Loraine, Texas, the daughter of Dolly Major Bell and Mary Alvie Yancey Bell. On May 29, 1969, she married George Edward Jordan. She was preceded in death by her parents; one grandson, Jerry Don Hughes III; three brothers, Dewey Lee Bell, Elgie Edward Bell and Donal Ray Bell; and one sister, Karen Ann Knighten. Wanda was a member of Gates of Praise Church and a homemaker. She was a great cook, enjoyed fishing and being on the water. She was a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother and sister and always put her family first. She is survived by her husband, George Jordan of Glenwood; three sons and their spouses, George, Jr. and Katrina Jordan of Newhope, Thomas and Cindy Jordan of Amity and Russell and Cristi Jordan of Colorado City, Texas; ten grandchildren, Jaci, Kaci, Rachel, Tristan, Wesley, Cheyenne, Felicity, ShaeLynne, Braelyn and Kambryn; nine great-grandchildren, Kayden, Trinity, Kendall, Oliver, Addison, Kenslee, Annalee, Emmersyn and River; two sisters and one brother-in-law, Betty Ruth Maness of Houston, Texas and Ellen and James Rich of Snyder, Texas; and several nieces and nephews. A private interment will be held by the family in the Colorado Cemetery, Colorado City, Texas, at a later date.
