Wanda Kirkland Griffith, 85, of Vilonia, Arkansas was welcomed into Heaven by her Lord and Savior, and her beloved husband, Bead, on May 29, 2018.
She was a humble lady who enjoyed even the small things in life. She volunteered in the nursery at the church early in life. She also loved dominos and cards with friends, her cats and her "what nots".
She is preceded in death by her husband of sixty-one years, Bead, her parents, Buster and Dorothy, sister Margarette Yeary, and son-in-law Danny Rowlett.
Wanda is survived by her son, Jimmy Griffith of Wasilla, Alaska; daughter Judy Rowlett and daughter Janie (Tony) Powell; five grandchildren; eleven great-grandchildren; two great great-grandchildren and two more on the way; sisters Linda Cline, Iva Buchhorn, Rose Marie Pate, and Janice Combs; brother Ralph Kirkland; sister-in-law Sarah Bridges; and many other nieces, nephews, family and friends.
The family would like to thank Ms. Wanda's caregiver of four years, Jean McCorkle and Donna Wilson, as well as the staff at Greystone Nursing & Rehab.
Family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Thursday at Smith-Westbrook Funeral Home, Beebe. Funeral will be 2:00 p.m. Friday, June 1, 2018, at Beryl Baptist Church, with burial in Dunkard Cemetery. Arrangements by Smith-Westbrook Funeral Home, Beebe. www.SmithFamilyCares.com
