Wanda Sue Gentry, age 74 passed away on May 1, 2012 at her home in Benton surrounded by her family. Wanda was born on September 23, 1937 in Thornburg, AR.
She is survived by her husband and longtime companion; Odale Gentry, one daughter; Debra Johnston and spouse Gary of Alexander, two sons; Jeff Gentry and spouse Ruthie and Marlon Gentry all of Benton, one granddaughter; Kristy Byrd and husband Chuck and one great-grandchild; Paige Byrd as well as a host of friends and other family members. Special thanks to her nieces and nephews. Wanda was dearly loved by all who knew her and will be greatly missed.
She was preceded in death by her parents; Walter and Ruth Edna (Bailey) Taylor.
Wanda was an avid shopper and enjoyed early morning sales and going to flea markets, she most enjoyed spending time with her children and grand-children.
