Wanda Evans
Wanda Nell Jeffery Evans of Little Rock departed this life recently. She was valedictorian of her Desha High School class and a graduate of St. Vincent?s School of Nursing. She was employed at various Little Rock hospitals during her career. She married Dr. Gilbert Carl Evans in 1960.
She is survived by her two daughters Laura Kathryn Evans and Carla Elizabeth Evans; three sisters, Kathryn Jeffery, Linda Burgett and Juanita ?Dolly? Jeffery; brothers, Max, Will, Julian and Larry Neil Jeffery. She was preceded in death by her husband, Dr. Gilbert Carl Evans, her parents, Henry and Ruby Long Jeffery; one brother, Harry Jeffery.
