Wanda Dent

Wanda Dent, age 74 of Manning, AR died Friday, June 23, 2006 at the Baptist Health Center in Little Rock. She was born October 15, 1931 at Caraway, AR, the daughter of the late William and Clara Cullum. She was a retired manager of the Sam Peck Hotel and Days Inn Motel in Benton, AR. Mrs. Dent was an avid gardener and involved in numerous social and community organizations and activities. She was a member of the Extension Homemakers Club and the Dalark United Methodist Church. She was preceded in death by a son Steven McCormick.

She is survived by one son, Ron McCormick of Butler, PA, two grandsons Quinn McCormick and Adam McCormick and three great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be 10 A.M. Friday, June 30, 2006 in the Dalark United Methodist Church with Rev. Harry Cross officiating. Burial will be in the DeLamar Cemetery under the direction of Ruggles-Wilcox Funeral Home in Arkadelphia. Memorials may be made to the Dalark United Methodist Church.
Visitation will be from 6 to 8 P.M. Thursday evening at the funeral home.
