Walter “Wally” Walker died September 9, 2023 in Little Rock Arkansas. He was born September 1, 1951 to Iva Lee and Walter Earnest Walker in Dallas Texas.
He had an older brother, Lindy Walker. He joined the marines and was stationed in Pearl Harbor in Hawaii during Vietnam. Today we are celebrating his life the way he would want us to. He was clean for 35 years and since then he has impacted the lives of many.
Some of his many accomplishments have been to be a disk jockey on am radio as well as a collage graduate. Also a loving father, grandfather, and great-grandfather to many children. He enjoyed making his own jewelry. He also learned some music on the guitar. He ran 26.2-mile marathon for Run for Leukemia because his father died in 1974 of leukemia.
He was survived by 2 sons, Kenneth Dine and Timothy Cawley. As well as 7 daughters, Kathleen Patterson, Tahirih Macklin, Jennifer Walker, Michelle Adams, Susie Nicols, Karena Otts, Christina Mancis and Stephanie Wooldridge. As well as 24 grandkids and 6 great-grand kids. He is preceded in death by his mother, Iva Lee Walker; his father, Walter Earnest Walker; his brother, Lindy Walker; his daughter, Virginia Walker; and his wives, Carol Dine and Karen Walker. In lieu of flowers please donate money to Friends of Recovery.
A graveside service will be held at 12:00 pm on Monday, September 18, 2023 at the Arkansas State Veterans Cemetery, 1501 W. Maryland Ave., North Little Rock, AR.
