Walter Pollich
Walter Rolland Pollich, Jr., 76 of Benton, died Friday, December 16, 2011. Walter was born January 1, 1935 in Los Angeles, CA to the late Walter Rolland Pollich, Sr. and Dorothy Nell (Burkhart) Pollich.
Mr. Pollich served four years in the US Navy, and retired from Owens Illinois and owner,operator of the Starting Gate Lounge in Hot Springs, AR. He is preceded in death by his wife of 50years, Judith (Runte) Pollich and brother Kenneth Pollich. He is survived by son Wally Pollich of Benton, Kristy Pollich of Benton and children Ryan and Collin; daughters Susan Breitenberg and husband David of Hot Springs and their children Allie and Ethan, Lynda Davis and husband Ken of Benton and their children Heather and Brandon, Cindy Harvey and husband John of Glendora,CA and their children Ashley, Brittany, and Johnny, and great-grandchildren Seth, Alyssa and Lauryn; and sister Sharon Richards of Arizona.
A memorial service will be held at 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, December 21, 2011 in the chapel of Peaceful Haven Funeral Home, 322 N. Market St., Benton, AR, 501-778-7100. Rev. Steve Comeans will be officiating. Online guest book is available at www.peacefulhavenfuneralhome.com.
