Walter Miguel Martínez, de 48 años, falleció el 20 de agosto de 2021. Walter nació el 1 de junio de 1973 en El Salvador, hijo de Afredo Castro y Angela (Martínez) Castro.
Walter siempre fue feliz. Le encantaba tocar su guitarra y cantarle a Dios. Era un hombre de familia muy devoto y siempre cuidaba de su esposa y de su familia. Walter siempre daba regalos y compraba pasteles de cumpleaños para todos los niños de su familia. Amaba a sus sobrinas y sobrinos y los trataba como si fuera su padre. Le encantaba ser abuelo de Bianca Walter. Walter era muy gracioso y siempre bromeaba. Él era el líder de la casa. Enseñó a su familia a tocar la guitarra y a conducir. Walter era un hombre muy respetuoso y era amable con todos los que conoció. También disfrutó cultivando jardines. La comida favorita de Walter era pescado frito, frijoles pintos, tortillas tostadas y mucha sal.
Walter es precedido en la muerte por sus padres: Alfredo Castro y Ángela (Martínez) Castro; hermanos: Alfred y Vidal; y hermanas: María y Ángela.
A Walter le sobreviven su esposa de 18 años, María; hijos: Elias, Walter y Brayan; hijas: Katerin y Génesis; nieta, Bianca Rodríguez; hermana, Rosa (George) Flores; hermanos: Antino (Guadalupe) Martínez, Lorenzo (Rosada) Martínez y Herman Martínez y una gran cantidad de familiares y amigos que aman a Walter y lo extrañarán siempre.
La visitación se llevará a cabo el viernes 27 de agosto de 2021 de 5:00 a 6:00 PM con servicio fúnebre a las 6:00 PM en la Primera Iglesia Nazarena de Benton, 1203 W Sevier St, Benton, AR.

Walter Miguel Martinez, 48, passed away August 20, 2021. Walter was born on June 1, 1973 in El Salvador to the late Afredo Castro and Angela (Martinez) Castro.
Walter was always happy. He loved playing his guitar and singing to God. He was a very devoted family man and always took care of his wife and family. Walter always gave gifts and bought birthday cakes for all of the children in his family. He loved his nieces and nephews and treated them as if he was their father. He loved being a grandfather to Bianca Walter. Walter was very humorous and always joked around. He was the leader of the house. He taught his family how to play guitar and how to drive. Walter was a very respectful man and was nice to everyone he met. He also enjoyed growing gardens. Walter’s favorite meal was fried fish, pinto beans, toasted tortillas, and lots of salt.
Walter is preceded in death by his parents: Alfredo Castro and Angela (Martinez) Castro; brothers: Alfred and Vidal; and sisters: Maria and Angela.
Walter is survived by his wife of 18 years, Maria; sons: Elias, Walter, and Brayan; daughters: Katerin and Genesis; granddaughter, Bianca Rodriguez; sister, Rosa (George) Flores; brothers: Antino (Guadalupe) Martinez, Lorenzo (Rosada) Martinez, and Herman Martinez and a host of family and friends who love Walter and will miss him always.
Visitation will be held Friday, August 27, 2021 from 5:00–6:00 PM with funeral service following at 6:00 PM at First Nazarene Church of Benton, 1203 W Sevier St, Benton, AR .
