Walter Harold Carpenter II

Walter "Pete" Harold Carpenter II, of North Little Rock, passed away on June 18, 2023. He was born in Sherman, TX, on August 1, 1952 to the late Walter Harold Carpenter, Sr. and Ollie Mildred Mattison Carpenter. 

Walter is known for his love for many things, which include: his deep love for music. Walter played the guitar and the piano. He enjoyed listening to blues and country music. He was an avid collector, which included many watches and anything that was considered an antique. Not only did he have a love for traveling, but one of his favorite places to visit was the beach. Fishing was another way Walter loved to spend his free time outdoors. 

Walter is preceded in death by his parents and his brother, Mike Carpenter. He is survived by his wife since 2014, Silvia Carrascos; his first cousins, Rachel (Roger) Hefton Schaefer from Fairfield Twp OH, Carl Hefton (Gail) from Dallas TX; second cousins, Matthew Schaefer from Fairfield Twp OH, Ryan, Bret, and Adam Hefton from Dallas, TX; as well as a host of friends that will miss him dearly. 

A visitation will be held at 2:00 pm on Thursday, June 22, 2023, followed by a funeral service at 3:00 pm at Smith Little Rock Funeral Home, 8801 Knoedl Ct. Little Rock, AR.
