Dr Wallace "Wally" Augustive Reynolds, age 87, of Joan, died Monday, February 11,2008. He was born January 12, 1921, in Lawrence, MA, to Harry and Sarah Teresa Hoffman Reynolds. A graduate of Athol High School, Athol, MA and Palmer Chiropractic College, Ames, Iowa. He did graduate work at Logan Chiropractic College in St. Louis, MO, and in Zurich, Switzerland. He was a U. S. Army veteran of World War II, and a retiree of General Motors Corp. in St. Louis. He was preceded in death by his parents and his stepfather, David Lipman.
He is survived by his wife, Ernestine Green Reynolds, daughter Carol Lynn Ross of Joan and three grandchildren: Jeremy (Lori) Ross of Arkadelphia, Stephanie Ross of Bossier City, LA, and Joseph "Joey" Ross of Joan. Other survivors are sisters-in-law Betty Duff of Hot Springs, Glendine Gentry (George) of Lonoke and Linda McCaskill of Sparkman.
The family will receive friends at Ruggles - Wilcox Funeral Home Wednesday, February 13, from 6 to 8 p.m. Funeral services will be 10:30 a. m. Thursday February 14 in the Ruggles - Wilcox Chapel with Rev. Royce Savage officiating, and burial in the Bethlehem Cemetery.
Wally loved and enjoyed flowers and animals during his lifetime, and it was his wish that in lieu of flowers, donations be made to the Humane Society of Clark County, the Bethlehem Cemetery Fund in care of, Virginia Phelps, 3114 Highway 51 N. , Arkadelphia, 71923 , or to the charity of choice.
