Wallace Hubbard

Wallace Hubbard age 80 of Bismarck, died Saturday June 21, 2008 at Golden Living Center in Arkadelphia. He was born April 14, 1928 in Hooks TX., the son of Elmer and Mary Beatrice Willimgham Hubbard. He was a drag Line operator for Arkansas Sand and Gravel, an Army veteran and attended Beaton Creek Methodist Church.

Survivors include his wife Vaughnita Harris Hubbard, four daughters, Linda Hathcock, Mary Cansler, Gail Summerville, and Carol Wilson all of Friendship, two stepsons, Darrell Cockerton of Metairie, LA., and Larry Cockerton of Patterson, LA., one brother, Jimmy Hubbard of Bismarck, two sisters, Doris Callison of Ft. Worth, TX., and Shirley Hurst of Curtis. 9 Grandchildren and 14 Great-Grandchildren also survive.

He was preceded in death by a son, Dale Bryan, and 3 Brothers, Charlie, Edward and Marion Hubbard.

Funeral services are 10 AM Thursday, June 26, 2008 at the Ruggles-Wilcox Chapel, with Brother Robert Cossey and Alan Cansler officiating. Burial will be in Beaton Cemetery. Visitation will be 6-8 PM Wednesday evening at the funeral home.
