W.A. "Sonny" Sturdivant, 75, of Little Rock passed away peacefully at home surrounded by his family and friends on May 8, 2015. He was born on May 14, 1939 in Texas and raised in Little Rock to Cyrus and Martha (Vacula) Sturdivant. Sonny was an amazing jokester and prankster bringing smiles and laughter to many. He was a Marine Corps veteran. Sonny enjoyed spending time with friends; always the life of the party.
Survivors include daughters, Cathy Wilson of Hawaii, Shelly Cossack (Pete) of California; Kelly Walton of Tennessee; son, Brian Morris of Florida; grandchildren, Gunnar Wilson, Madysen and Jessica Cossack; brothers, Bob Sturdivant, Larry Sturdivant; sister, Diane Sedberry, sweet caring girlfriend, Fay Johnson and a host of other relatives and friends. He is preceded in death by his father, his brother Mike and sister Wanda.
Funeral Services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, May 16th at Little Rock Funeral Home. Visitation will be Friday, May 15th from 6-8:00 p.m. at the Funeral Home. Burial will be at Pinecrest Memorial Park in Alexander, AR.
