Vonda Chadwick

Vonda Lee Chadwick, 69, of Cabot went to be with her Lord and Savior on Sunday, February 7, 2010. She was a member of Zion Hill Baptist Church, was on the kitchen, long range planning and other committees and worked with the children in the nursery. She was an accountant for Sun Exploration and Production Company (SUNOCO) and with the crude oil Purchasing Department Group. She owned her own drapery company while living in Tulsa, creating draperies for many churches, colleges and stage back drops.
She is survived by her husband of 49 years, Bob Chadwick of Cabot; son, Daniel T. Chadwick and wife, Kelly of Amesbury, Massachusetts; daughter, Dianna Chadwick of Boulder City, Nevada; grandchildren, James Wisener, Matthew Schmidt, Audrey Jo Schmidt, Jessica Chadwick and Daniel Thomas Chadwick, Jr.; brother, Ardon Birdsong of Broken Arrow, Oklahoma; and sister, Linda Birdsong of Jacksonville. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Debra Lee Chadwick Loftis and her parents, Homer and Ione Birdsong.
A memorial service will be held 10:00 a.m., Thursday at Zion Hill Baptist Church. Graveside service will be 1:00 p.m., Saturday in Holdenville Cemetery in Holdenville, Oklahoma.
