Void Thompson

Void D. Thompson, 90, of North Little Rock, Arkansas, went to be with the Lord Thursday, May 21, 2015. He was born December 4, 1924 in Searcy, Arkansas to William Edwin and Myrtle Thompson.
He is survived by his wife of sixty nine years, Patricia M. Thompson; son, Michael J. Thompson (Elvira) of Little Rock; daughters, Donna-Sue Tate (Richard) of Little Rock and Paulette L. Meux (Larry) of North Little Rock; brother, James T. Thompson, of Scott; grandchildren, Jenifer D. Scratch (Harold) of Cabot, Damon J. Seigrist (Laura) of Scott, Michelle L. Freels (John) of North Little Rock and Chris M. Meux (Jennifer) of Sherwood; and great-grandchildren, Alex Scratch (Samantha), Elijah Seigrist, Daniel Seigrist and Gavin Meux. He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Billy Craig Thompson and Shelby Edward Thompson and sister, Dessie Faye Powell.
Our family would like to extend heartfelt thanks to all the nurses, CNA's and staff of Valley Ranch Nursing and Rehabilitation for their loving care of our loved one. They became like family to us. Special thanks to Gentiva Hospice who helped in the last days of his life.
Funeral services will be held 10:00 a.m., Tuesday, May 26th at Landmark Missionary Baptist Church. Burial will be in Edgewood Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m., Sunday, May 24th at Smith - North Little Rock Funeral Home. Online obituary at www.SmithFamilyCares.com .
