Vita June Roberts Hankins, 90, of Camden peacefully completed her earthly journey on November 7, 2019. She was born on December 5, 1928 in Graysonia, Arkansas as the eldest of three girls to Jewel and Thelma (Mackey) Roberts. She was preceded in death by her husband of 42 years, Oliver Clark Hankins. She is survived by her two sons, Terry (Cindy) of Rogers and Tony (Karen) of Bismarck; four grandchildren, Ryan (Meredith) Hankins of Birmingham, AL and Amy (Josh) Dewar of Rogers, Travis and Linzy Hankins of Bismarck and two great grandchildren, Audrey and Lucy Hankins of Birmingham; and two sisters, Frankie Craig of New Albany, MS and Doris Hardaway of Greenbrier. She was a retired teacher from the Fairview School District in Camden and was a member and Sunday school teacher at Cullendale First Baptist Church in Camden.
Graveside Services will be conducted at the Antoine Cemetery in Antoine 3:00 p.m. Saturday, November 9, 2019, with the Reverend Wade Totty officiating. Visitation will be Friday, November 9, 2019 at Ruggles Wilcox Funeral Home from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. and again immediately after the graveside service on Saturday at the Antoine Community Center.
In Lieu of flowers, memorials may be sent to Ouachita Baptist University in Arkadelphia or Shriner’s Hospital in Bossier City, LA. or Cullendale First Baptist Church of Camden, AR.
