Virginia L. Young, 90, of North Little Rock, Arkansas, passed away March 26, 2016. She was born on October 18, 1925 in Little Rock.
Virginia retired after 55 years working in retail sales. She was a member of Cornerstone Fellowship Church.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Casey Young; her parents Donovan Westbrook and Ruth Osborne; an infant brother "Baby Westbrook", a daughter Dorothy J. Burke, two grandsons Leslie Mathis and Steven Mathis.
She is survived by her son Wayne Barker and wife Cindy, daughter Peggy L. Strange, eight grandchildren, Deanna, Nolen, Stephen, Jamie, Brad, Annie, Danny II, and Elizabeth; twenty great-grandchildren and twenty-three, great-great, grandchildren; step-children, David Young, Gloria Kirkman, and Marilyn Lynch.
Visitation will be Wednesday, March 30, 2016 from 12:00 p.m. until the time of the funeral service at 1:00 p.m., both at Huson Funeral Home Chapel in Sherwood, with entombment following at Rest Hills Memorial Park Mausoleum in North Little Rock.
