Virginia Ann “Ginny” Wynn, 87, was born on April 27, 1937, and she peacefully passed into the arms of her Savior Jesus on June 13, 2024. Virginia was predeceased by her parents, Herbert and Geneva Linzy; three sisters, Katherine Parker, Helen Yarbrough, Marilyn Wallace; and sister-in-law, Dolores Dee Wynn.
Sonny and Ginny were charter members of Hot Springs Baptist Church, and Ginny volunteered her clerical skills there many years. During her life, she worked in the city clerk’s office, served as secretary to the court, and the employment office. She was employed by Reynolds Aluminum for 30 years and retired from there. Ginny loved the flow of her children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and family in their home. On holidays and birthdays many cars could be found parked outside their house with much food and love inside.
Survivors include her beloved husband of 69 years, Donald “Sonny” Wynn; her children, Debbie (Mike) Stanley, Donna Buffington, David (Denise) Wynn; Grandchildren, Josh (Jamie) Daniels, Jessica (Shawn) Nobles, Sean (London) Buffington, and Addison (Marissa) Wynn; Great-grandchildren, Jacob Daniels, Jenna Daniels, Zachary Daniels, Kyler Daniels, Shawn Nobles, Matthew Nobles, Madeline Wynn; and Sister-in-law, Judy (Richard) McEarl. Virginia is also survived by many cherished nephews, nieces, cousins.
Ginny will be missed by all those who knew and loved her.
Graveside services will be held at Crestview Cemetery , 3077 East Grand Ave, on Tuesday July 2, 2024 at 10:00am with Mike Pounders officiating.
