Virginia (Ginny) Young Tucker, age 53, passed away, Saturday, September 19, 2009 at 2:10 pm after a courageous 3 year battle with cancer. She died at home, in Little Rock, with family by her side. Ginny was a native of Malvern where she graduated from Magnet Cove High School in 1974 and went on to obtain her Bachelor of Arts degree at Hendrix College. Ginny worked for MP Productions as a Production Coordinator and as a freelance makeup artist.
She is survived by her husband, Robin Tucker; her mother, Barbara Henderson; her father and stepmother, John and Suzi Young; her sister, Karen Horton and her husband Stan; two sisters, Jami and Leigh Young; her brother, John Murry Young; her mother-in-law, Janice Tucker; two brothers-in-law, David and Gerald Tucker and his wife Christine; her sister-in-law, Karen Sanders and her husband John, her aunt Ginny Davies and her partner Marilyn Leavitt, and many nieces, nephews and cousins.
We would like to thank all of Ginny's wonderful, supportive friends; Arkansas Hospice; and everyone at Cancer Institute at UAMS, Dr. Maddox, all of the great nurses and staff on 7H and especially Dr. Suen for his compassion and dedication to Ginny. A celebration of Life for family and friends will be held Saturday, September 26, at 2:00 pm at 4512 Austin Drive in North Little Rock.

Ginny will be dearly missed and remembered by her family and friends. Ginny, we will keep you in our hearts and may you rest eternally in the loving hands of God.
