Virginia Dean Strohmeyer-Miles, 85, of Little Rock, passed away November 3, 2013. She was born in Kansas City, Missouri to William Ernest Strohmeyer and Ruth Ethel Billingsley Strohmeyer. She was an organist at St. Matthew's Episcopal Church and a member of the American Guild of Organists, Order of the Eastern Star and Rebekah.
Preceded in death by her parents and her husband, Louis Gray Miles, she is survived by her cousin, Virginia Newcomb and a host of friends.
Visitation will be Thursday, November 7 from 6-8 p.m. at Little Rock Funeral Home, 8801 Knoedl Ct. (NW corner I-630 and Barrow Rd.). Services will be Saturday, November 9 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Matthew's Episcopal Church, 1112 Alcoa Rd., Benton, officiated by Rev. Lorrie Slaymaker. Interment will follow at Roselawn Memorial Park. Memorials may be made to the Humane Society of Pulaski County, 14600 Colonel Glenn, Little Rock, AR 72210.
