Virginia Hudson Phelps, age 85 of Arkadelphia, died Sunday September 11, 2016. She was born August 10, 1931 in Clark County the daughter of Chester and Florence Williams Hudson. She was a bank teller at Citizens Bank in Arkadelphia and a member of Bethlehem Methodist Church.
She was preceded in death by her husband Floyd Phelps.
She is survived by one son Perry Phelps and wife Shannon of Beebe, AR: one daughter Connie Phelps of Arkadelphia, AR; one sister Thelma Brown of Arkadelphia, AR; one grandson Paden Phelps and wife Amanda of Russellville, AR; one granddaughter Amanda Hodge and husband Ryan of Little Rock, AR, and one great- grandson Hudson Phelps of Russellville.
Funeral Services will be 2:00 pm Wednesday September 14, 2016 in the Ruggles - Wilcox Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. J. L. Newborn officiating. Visitation will be from 12:30 until service time at the funeral home. Burial will be in the Bethlehem Cemetery in Joan, AR.
Memorials may be made to the Bethlehem Cemetery Fund, P.O. Box 423, Arkadelphia, AR 71923.
