Virginia Ruth Nelson

Virginia Ruth Nelson, 96, passed away April 28, 2024. Virginia was born April 10, 1928 to the late Alta Short and Ida Evelyn (Cherry) Short.

Virginia was retired from Pulaski County Special School District. She enjoyed fishing and always looked forward to the special weekly hour spent with her hairdresser and friend, Sue James. She was often found outside gardening and mowing her lawn. During this past year, she appreciated all the special attention she received from the staff at Mt. Carmel, Elijah's Place Memory Care. Family time was extremely important to Virginia, and she always cherished each moment spent together.

J. Sanchez, Aaron Sanchez, Leighton Zak, Riley Zak, Ella Byrd, Beau Byrd, Rayleigh Nelson, Ryder Nelson, and Knox Nelson; as well as a host of family members and friends who will all miss her dearly.
