Virginia Kyzer

Bertha Virginia (Patterson) Kyzer was born February 22, 1932 in Brummitt, Arkansas near Lonoke. Sister Virginia departed her body August 15, 2015 at 10:50 a.m.

Sister Kyzer was preceded in death by her husband Eugene and daughter Debra, as well as a sister Pat White, and her mother Doni Pierce, who died when Sister Kyzer was only three years old. Her father William E. Patterson was a minister.

Survivors include her children, Robert, Ralph, Danny, and Ronald Kyzer; ten grandchildren; and fifteen great-grandchildren.

Sister Kyzer learned at a very young age to work hard alongside her daddy, cutting wood, picking cotton and plowing fields. She loved to fish, she was a great cook as well as a great listener, and she greatly enjoyed family gatherings with her family that she loved dearly. Sister Kyzer, in her last days and hours was more concerned about her family and friends hurting and grieving than she was her own illness and pain. She is now a part of the Heavenly, Joyful Host. She will truly be missed.

Funeral Services will be held at 6:00 p.m., Wednesday, August 19, 2015 at First Pentecostal Church of North Little Rock, followed by a Graveside at 10:30 a.m., Thursday Morning, August 20, 2015 at Rest Hills Memorial Park Cemetery, under the direction of the Huson Funeral Home of Sherwood.
